Simulation
Through extensive simulation in both Comsol Multiphysics and LTspice, the performance of the transformer is evaluated.
- Through Comsol Multiphysics the magnetization and the heating of the transformer are simulated.
- Through LTspice the calculated behavior of the transformer is validated through simulations.
The simulations help to optimize the design before making the transformer and thereby reducing the number of revisions needed to get the best possible design.
Validating through testing
When creating samples, the Ole Wolff magnetics engineering team will do thorough testing to ensure the transformer performance meets the requirements.
The testing of the transformers is performed in our laboratory located in Denmark.
